WHAT IS PROJECT GRAD?

  It's graduation night, the biggest night of your life! It's about to be bigger! Project Grad is an all night event where you and your friends can swim, dance, play games and eat awesome food from 9 pm until 2 am, THEN, keep the party going from 2 am until 5 am with bowling, more awesome food, karaoke and games at KBXtreme.  

  Project Grad is a nationally recognized substance-free high school graduation celebration. Kealakehe High School and West Hawaii Explorations Academy (WHEA) students share a fun and safe graduation night with memories to last a lifetime

HOLIDAY EVENT REGISTRATION AND VOLUNTEER OPPORUNITIES

NEXT EVENT: 1950'S BOWLING PARTY & SILENT AUCTION December 10, 2017

RECRUIT A TEAM for our 1950's Bowling Party and Silent Auction - "ROLL IN THE HOLIDAYS"! 

 This is the primary event fundraiser for the year, perfect for the small business, the large family or "besties"  who are too busy to plan a party but not too busy to attend one! 

Your team of six will enjoy three hours of bowling, food, fun competition and a variety of silent auction prizes to bid on.

PAST EVENT: 47th ANNUAL KONA COFFEE FESTIVAL LANTERN PARADE, November, 2017

This awesome group of volunteers represented Kealakehe Project Grad at the 47th Annual Kona Coffee Festival Lantern Parade, and was awarded $100 by the Festival for its efforts!  Mahalo to all who participated.

PAST EVENT: IRONMAN PRE RACE SETUP - VARIOUS DATES, October 2017

Over 30 students and teachers volunteered for Ironman World Championship Kona in various capacities.  Lots of hard work, but many fun memories.  All students received community service hours and their names were entered in the end-of-year drawing for a *FREE TICKET to Project Grad 2018!

PAST EVENT: 2ND ANNUAL WAIMEA KEIKI BIKE FESTIVAL, October, 2017

Mahalo to Bike Works for their donation to Kealakehe Project Grad - we had a great time painting faces on the keiki and young-at-heart!  Thank your Key Club members for raising funds for Project Grad 2018!


KONA BREWERS' FESTIVAL, March 10, 2018

No, you don't get to drink beer, but your job is important!  Help before and after this community event in it's recycling commitment.  It's an energetic venue your task serves a great purpose, and the Bill Healey Foundation has been generously supporting Kealakehe Project Grad for numerous years in exchange for our efforts.

HAWAI'I ISLAND VISITOR INDUSTRY CHARITY WALK, May 12, 2018

Hotel workers compete to get sponsors to raise money for Big Island charities, and guess what? Project Grad can be one of those charities! Showcase your musical talents or assist the race participants in this year's booth.  Details to follow.
